Julian Manzara is a guitarist and composer based in Minneapolis, MN. He is the leader of jazz group Julian Manzara Quartet, which focuses on performing his original compositions. The quartet’s concerts feature strong melodies and intense improvisations in a wide variety of jazz styles including blues, jazz-samba and jazz-rock fusion. The group has performed at some of the Twin Cities’ favorite jazz spots such as Jazz Central Studios, Reverie Cafe + Bar, and The Black Dog. The quartet will be returning to Northfield, MN for the 2017 music festivals at The Contented Cow.

Julian attended Berklee College of Music for one year, before leaving to tour throughout the US and Europe for two years. Julian recently finished his music studies at McNally Smith College of Music where he earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Guitar Performance.
