Ryan Lee Jones | Syvers | Ben Noble (Indie Rock) $10
Thursday, February 21 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Based out of Minneapolis, Ryan Lee Jones is a singer-songwriter and music producer. His music holds the influences of Bon Iver, Jon Foreman, and Sufjan Stevens.
Syvers, a native Minneapolis indie folk-electronic duo stir together a love of honest vulnerability with contemplative discovery to process their tangled webs of identity in the flickering dance of dark and light.
Pulling from their respective spheres of indie influences, a dark blend of moody shades reminiscent of Bonobo, S. Carey, and J. Views are juxtaposed against the emotion-filled drippings of Liza Anne, Phoebe Bridges, Julien Baker, and The xx.
As a staple of their shows, live-looping crossfades the studio composition process with the stage. With threads of samples, droning backdrops, and dripping vocals crafted on the fly, capturing these inspired moments will take a new form each time their mantra is exhaled.
Ben Noble is a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter who released his first full-length album Whisky Priest in the Spring of 2017. Fully self-produced and recorded in a cabin, Whisky Priest is a journey of exacting introspection. Noble loves the contrast of serene, innocent melodies with a haunting chorus of falsetto voices.
