Brooke Elizabeth + Colin Bracewell $10
Saturday, February 19, 2022 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Brooke Elizabeth is a singer/songwriter from a small town in Wisconsin making her way in the Minnesota music scene. Starting out in the folk/americana world, Brooke started writing and performing at a young age. She now has established her own unique sound drawing influence from artists like Lennon Stella, Norah Jones, and Billie Eilish. Her recent work with established producer, Tommy Barbarella, has reflected a combination of her impactful lyrics and his expertise in piano and production. This summer, she had the opportunity to open for well-known bands like Yam Haus and American Authors. Two of her singles You and Like I Do were also played on Cities97’s local show. Brooke Elizabeth uses her music to share her stories and experiences that are captivating and relatable to listeners.
At only 20 years old, Colin Bracewell has established himself as a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter whose raw vocals and production reflect the sound of Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley. Born in Ontario, Canada, he began writing and performing during his time in high school and is now attending the University of Minnesota. His style discovers a dark and nostalgic sound paired with thick production and tight vocals. Usually writing, recording, and producing on his own, Bracewell’s vocal pads and true lyrics combined with love and loss, create unique and gravitating artistry. In 2020, his folk-influenced single “You’re Fine”, inspired by the intensity of last year’s events, was featured on The Current – as Song of the Day.
