Whiskey Rock ‘n’ Roll Club MPLS is another righteous entry in the proud tradition of bands with the word whiskey superfluously in their names!
Although only three pieces, the fuzzed-out rock outfit makes a bigger and badder sound—boogie with a bit of bite—than groups twice their size. The same over-performance also can be said of Whiskey’s end-of-the-night bar tab, making the “Club meeting” live shows a favorite for fans of loud and fast music and bartenders alike.
Whiskey RRC MPLS have opened for national acts at The Turf Club and 7th St Entry, played the Roots, Rock & Deep Blues Festival, the Stone Arch Festival, SoundUnseen Opening Party, 612 Brewing Outdoor Summer Music Series, Hennepin 5 to 10 Series, and more. Their first single “Let It Ride” has been played on The Current’s Local Show.

Jared Zachary is a signer-songwriter in town, best known as the lead-singer and guitarist of the two-piece heavy blues band Buffalo Fuzz. On the road to healing from the recent death of his bandmate, he is making his return to the stage with an acoustic guitar to share songs not only of loss, but also of rebirth and hope.
