He composes and improvises a variety of instrumental music, some of which to accompany dance performances such as "Stripe Tease", some of which for use in films such as "Pitchfork Unsung: Dan Corrigan", "Rhythmic" (feat. Tom West is an Australian singer-songwriter performing music that traverses the rocky and undulating ground between simple, whimsical folk tunes and grand and moody soundscapes.

Nate Amor has been a fixture in the twin cities music scene since his debut album in 2001, Long Five Days. However, his name was Nathan Anderson (or the Nathan Anderson Project) back then (more on the name change later). Laura Hugo is originally from the Navajo Nation but has been calling the Twin Cities her home for the last 7 years. She’ll make you feel the feels with her melodic and catchy tunes about heartbreak. Fur Coats and Bar Fights is a local band out of Minneapolis MN. They strive to bring to the table the right combination of notes, melodies, and flannel shirts that will keep you lunging towards the nearest dance floor. Lowry Bridge consists of Phil Daniel song writer, guitar & vocals, Daniel Rachelbacher bass guitar & Kevin Sheehy drums. Formed in early 2018.

Michigander (aka Jason Singer) is an indie rock act from Kalamazoo, MI. The band has been putting out music since 2016 and has toured all over the country. Michigander has shared stages with Mt. Joy, Ra Ra Riot, Tokyo Police Club, Twin Peaks, and JR JR. As well as sharing festival billing with alt-j, Foster the People, Solange, and Two Door Cinema Club. Jason’s music has been featured on NPR, Paste, NME, DIY (UK) and many others. The band has also done sessions with Audiotree, Daytrotter, and Paste Magazine. In March 2018 Michigander released his debut EP titled “Midland”. The EP was so followed up with a new single titled “Tunnel” which was released in August 2018.

From his new wave days in the ‘80’s with the Tone Poets (with fellow future luminaries Michael Ferrier of Fathom Lane and Steve Roehm of the New Standards) to his current adventures as a solo artist he has never stopped making music and evolving.

Liam Gerard is a Minneapolis-based singer, songwriter, recording artist and  performer. With roots in pop music of the 90’s to his adult addiction with Motown and the blues of Ray Charles. The music has been described as pulsing and melodic, with an attention to reflective lyrics based on experience. Tastes of alternative, blues, folk and pop give the music an eclectic feel as it spans multiple genres. Liam Gerard wrote all 11 tracks on his debut album “Belle and Music” and funded the entire project without a record contract  over the course of 25 months of work recording it. A classically trained musician with an affinity for songs of love lost, Ashley’s vocal versatility makes her sound equally at home with the soul singers of R&B and the homegrown folk of Americana. Together with her band of jazz-educated players, she has been playing monthly shows in the Twin Cities area to build recognition and her fan base. She just released her debut album, Bad Idea, in January 2018. Bad Idea showcases the best and worst parts of being in love, from the exciting first sparks of attraction to the despair of love unrequited.

Hailing from the open skies and minds of Victoria, BC, singer-songwriter and guitarist Sam Weber has gone from strength to strength with gigs and EP releases that have caught the imagination of listeners and media across the world. His ambitious, masterful debut full-length album Shadows in the Road is the culmination of years already spent intensely focused on gigging and recording.

A Wisconsin native, Jacob Miller left his hometown for Portland, OR the summer of 2009 via Amtrak; bringing with him only a suitcase and a Fender Jaguar guitar. After just one year in the city - he left to travel North America to study and perform music while working on various farms and ranches between travels. Time spent as a farm hand in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina shaped his devotion to the finger picking style of the region. Playing along with old recordings and locals in the surrounding areas of Appalachia, Miller delved into the inner workings of the music’s style and history.

When Trevor DeVine took a leap of faith at age 18 and moved to St. Paul, MN to attend McNally Smith College of Music, he was not aware of the immaculate family he was about to discover. In February of 2015, DeVine formed Trevor DeVine and the Immaculate Beings. After many changes to the band’s sound and lineup, TD and the IB released their debut album “Free” in April, 2017. When McNally Smith College of Music closed in the middle of DeVine and the rest of the group’s senior year of college, a new sense of hope and inspiration bloomed. Spending the following 6 months writing, healing, and creating as a family, TD and the IB has completed writing their sophomore album and will be releasing it to the rest of the universe in 2019. TD and the IB continues to use their music to inspire all people to discover and praise the immaculate being in themselves, help people discover the self love they deserve, and to create a safe sanctuary for everyone with every performance creating a positive and loving live experience.

Teague Alexy is probably best known for his Americana songwriting in the nationally-touring brothers duo Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank. Or, maybe you remember 2004 when Teague Alexy with Medication was filling dance floors around Minnesota, or you’ve heard that Teague is an award-winning author, or that he grew up in a South Jersey rap band.

WILKINSON JAMES got started back in the fall of 2008, when Liz Wilkinson and AJ Scheiber met up and started singing their songs together in coffee shops and other venues around town. The Shackletons are a rock band out of the Twin Cities writing and playing songs rooted in the rich influence of the “Minnesota Sound.” The band consists of Colin Campbell (vocals/guitar), his older brother, Cameron (Bass), and younger brother Evan (Drums/miscellaneous screaming). David Harland has felt the pull of music all of his life. His music has been described as innovative, introspective and expressive. David is a fingerstyle guitarist and singer/songwriter in the tradition of great innovators like Michael Hedges, Nick Drake, David Wilcox and Billy McLaughlin.

After losing his Father to an auto immune disease at the age of 25, Shynes decided to honor his Dad's legacy by chasing the dreams he had put off for so long. At that time he was working at a residential treatment center for teens, and playing the occasional show on the weekend. "It was important work, and shaped who I am today in a lot of ways. But after 3 years I just got tired of getting beat up, spit on, and called everything you can imagine. I loved those kids though, and wouldn't trade my time there for anything."

Ryan Montbleau has been an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and bandleader for more than a decade, but with his new album I WAS JUST LEAVING, the New England-based artist has truly arrived. Contemplative and richly emotive, the album offers a glimpse into the often-lonesome life of the relentlessly traveling troubadour, a strikingly single-minded existence too often clouded by the blur of constant motion. Recorded at New Orleans’ Esplanade Studios over four days in January 2016 with producer Anders Osborne and engineer/mixer Mark Howard (known for his work with such icons as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Neil Young, and U2), the album marks Montbleau’s first full length release in the wake of a series of seismic personal shifts. Laura Hugo is originally from the Navajo Nation but has been calling the Twin Cities her home for the last 7 years. She’ll make you feel the feels with her melodic and catchy tunes about heartbreak. The Red Kicks are releasing their debut single Elevated in November of 2018. The Red Kicks worked with sound designer Randon Nelson of Tangerine Recordings in St. Paul, MN to create music that blends indie electronic rock with experimental pop.

After years of collaboration on other projects, The Red Kicks formed in 2016 to bring something fresh to the midwest music scene. The Red Kicks is a band in their infancy, but the contributing members are veterans to the national and international music scene.

A child of the northwoods of Wisconsin, Christopher Kessenich found inspiration in the name Arts Fishing Club from his grandfathers' (both named Art) collective philosophy on fishing. They taught him to cast every day with the fullest intention of landing a big fish yet to always remember that a day of fishing is not measured by what is caught but rather by the quality of the time spent with the people in the boat.

The band (Peter Eddins, Jimi Greene, Matt Siffert, and Christopher Kessenich focuses on excellence in what they do together during their live shows sharing that with the audience. They have toured extensively over the past two years honing in a unique acoustic rock sound that is "part folk, part rock, part country, and all energy!" They've played notable festivals Summerfest, Mile of Music, Philly Folk Fest, and showcased at the Newport Folk Fest and SXSW.

Family Three are just two guys and one gal who love music. They would describe their sound as "Blindie-Soulk" - Blues, Indie, Soul and Folk. They have been playing some form of music since they were kids, but it wasn't until recently that they decided to take the next step, and are on the journey of finding out what it means to put the passion of music in the front seat.

Julian Manzara is a jazz guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from Minneapolis, MN. His quartet shows span fast tempos and dramatic ballads, balancing originals with standards, and funky backbeats with swing. He has been featured twice in the Twin Cities Jazz Festival and twice in the Eau Claire Jazz Festival.

Nici Peper is an Americana singer-songwriter based loosely based in the Minnesota/ Wisconsin region. Growing up around gospel music and a family of storytellers, her lyrics reflect the soul and honesty of their influences. Her music exposes a gentle heart- one that writes of love, heartbreak, and dreams.

Both Rachelle LaNae and Andrew Frederick studied music formally receiving a degree in performance. Steeped heavily in classical music Rachelle’s training starkly contrasts that of Andrew’s which lives in the realm of jazz and groove oriented music. In the fall of 2017 by combining these two worlds with their unabashed appreciation for folk and pop music they began their musical relationship and Tacky Annie was born. If you like Sylvan Esso, Phantogram, Lucius, or Julia Michaels there may be something for you in Tacky Annie.

Billy Johnson is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis. Billy was the lead singer of The Hillcats, and is the lead singer of Billy Johnson’s Roadshow. He also has an acoustic duo called B-TEAM with George McKelvey. Billy has recorded 10 CDs. He strums a Gibson guitar with soul, and has a great vocal range.

Mel and the Side Effects. A Band with hints of Indie-Folk, Americana and groove. It is bar room harmonies, bursts of harmonica and complex tangles of acoustic bass and guitar. This trio is made up of three long time friends: Dan Scultz, Jeremy Plumb and Mike Haldorson. They have been playing in bands together for more than 15 years and that familiarity makes each show an improvisational unique experience. On the latest EP: The sophomore release from Mike Haldorson and bandmates, this time as Mel and the Side Effects, is a bluesy Americana ode to noticing and appreciating the little things that make life delightful.

Jeremy Ylvisaker is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer who has worked with John Prine, Jenny Lewis, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), Andrew Bird, Sandra Bernhard, Damo Suzuki (Can), members of Prince’s New Power Generation, Mouse on Mars, Swamp Dogg, The Suburbs, film maker Chuck Statler ("The Truth About Devolution"), Merce Cunningham dance company, and many others playing on five continents in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Cape Town Jazz Festival, The Ed Sullivan Theater (The Late Show with David Letterman), and other television programs including Austin City Limits and the Colbert Report. He composes and improvises a variety of instrumental music, some of which to accompany dance performances such as "Stripe Tease", some of which for use in films such as "Pitchfork Unsung: Dan Corrigan", "Rhythmic" (feat. Andrew Bird), and "Trophy Husband." Some just for listening while you do your thing. And a lot of rock n roll.

David moved in across the alley from Karl. Steve bumped into David at a bar. David took a job at Dan’s company. Dan told us about a family member of his, Brian, and Brian had been in another band with Jeff. We all write and arrange songs together. The result is a friendly mongrel with a twangy, funky, bluesy, jangly, rock & roll bark.

Led by frontman Robert Wilkinson, Flamin' Oh's burst onto the Minneapolis music scene in 1980 and thrilled music (and early MTV video fans) with Billboard charting hits, including "I Remember Romance." Not content to rest on their early success, Flamin' Oh's continue to record and deliver high energy live performances to great acclaim. Iowa-raised, Minneapolis-based Ben Cook-Feltz is a singer, songwriter, drummer and self-taught pianist. Combining observational, sometimes quirky lyrics with melodies that hearken back to the classic sounds of the 60′s and 70′s, he has been entertaining audiences throughout the Midwest as a dynamic performer, whether playing solo, with his crackerjack band, or backing up some of the finest regional talent (Mother Banjo, Sarah Morris, Matt French). Keith Secola is an icon and ambassador of Native music. He is one of the most influential artists in the field today. Rising from the grassroots of North America, he is a songwriter of the people. Critics have dubbed him as the Native versions of both Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. NDN Kars (Indian cars), his most popular song is considered the contemporary Native American anthem, achieving legendary status and earning him a well deserved cult following.
