Juan M Soria is a Singer-Songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina who now resides in Brooklyn, NY. Juan was forced quit his long term day job in banking after his boss denied him time off to take his dream vacation to NYC. This proved to be the best decision he ever made and ultimately the start of a completely new life and musical career in the US. Juan fell in love with not only the city and the music scene, but also his now manager and wife Sara. Jeremy Ylvisaker is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer who has worked with John Prine, Jenny Lewis, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), Andrew Bird, Sandra Bernhard, Damo Suzuki (Can), members of Prince’s New Power Generation, Mouse on Mars, Swamp Dogg, The Suburbs, film maker Chuck Statler ("The Truth About Devolution"), Merce Cunningham dance company, and many others playing on five continents in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Cape Town Jazz Festival, The Ed Sullivan Theater (The Late Show with David Letterman), and other television programs including Austin City Limits and the Colbert Report. He composes and improvises a variety of instrumental music, some of which to accompany dance performances such as "Stripe Tease", some of which for use in films such as "Pitchfork Unsung: Dan Corrigan", "Rhythmic" (feat. Instead of being vexed by creative traps and pitfalls that victimize bands attempting to operate within mostly familiar territory, Herman navigates those traps and pitfalls with an ability that turns them into strengths not possessed by many. Gabriel Douglas has built his reputation on the churning, heavy-thumping blues rock of the 4onthefloor, whose sound is defined as much by his wild man warrior-bellow vocals as it is by the steady pulse of the four members’ synchronous bass-drum thuds—but a delve into the corners of his catalog reveals an artist with a startling breadth of interests. The man keeps busy, holding down gigs in several stylistically distinct groups while regularly performing and recording solo. The solo shows let the guttural howls show through and the songs breathe new lives as stripped down road songs.

With a folksinger’s head and a rocker's heart, Beth Bombara has built her career on an evolving sound that blurs the lines between genres. JulyDa is a Minneapolis-based pop-rock band featuring Julida Alter on voice and cello, and her husband, Sean Alter, on guitar. Dark Pony is the alter-ego of Minnesota based producer/performer Jon Herchert. Instead of chasing musical dragons in the far-away musical jungles of Los Angeles and New York, the Dark Pony has set out on a hero’s journey of discovery right in his own backyard. Literally his own backyard.

The Lark and the Loon are a husband and wife songwriting duo. Roots music by simple definition their writing and song choices traverse the Americana idea in what they call an exploration of the etymology of American music. Sea shanties, Irish dance tunes, Delta and Piedmont blues, jazz, and country all weave together under the calm direction of their showmanship and love of wordplay. Their debut album "Songbirds and Fog" was the highest charted self-released album on the Folk DJ charts the month of its release and has been gaining steady fanfare from the listeners reached by this 74 minute 19 track catalog of an album.

Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota -- Ryan Lee Jones is an American singer/songwriter and music producer. After extensive studio experimentation with acclaimed audio engineer Brian Ricke, Jones is pursuing the art of musical storytelling.

Eliza Blue is a folk-singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. In addition to her solo work, Eliza also performs as half of the folk duo, "The Nesters" with fellow songwriter and banjoist, Jami Lynn, and she is a regular contributor to South Dakota Public Broadcasting with her monthly, “Postcards from the Prairie.” She has performed and recorded with Roma di Luna, Charlie Parr, and Chastity Brown just to name a few. As the ripples on the surface of the river mingle and transform the lines and reflections of our world, so Willow Water's music shapeshifts and defies categorization. Dancing lithely between rock and roll, country, old folk, and jazz; bolstered by rich, intricate, and often surprising arrangements and instrumentation, her music exhibits exhaustive precision and delightful variety. And centering this vast array of orchestration is Willow's singular voice - a voice that is grounding in timbre yet soaring in its revelations.

Melding poetry, mystery, darkness and light, along with an extensive knowledge of the history and traditions of blues music is what makes Paul Reddick one of the most popular figures on the blues and roots music scene today. For over 25 years he’s been writing and performing his eclectic brand of blues, bringing the art form to new frontiers with his rapacious, deep vocals, masterful harmonica playing and song writing. As the unofficial poet laureate of Canadian blues, words are his weapon of choice and when he sings, it is near impossible not to listen and get lost within the songs.

Frequency Collisions is a one man performing and recording project that mixes multiple genres and sounds to create heady, textured, and sonically rich music. It's thought provoking music for those aimless drives with no particular destination. Much like those drives, Frequency Collisions' music can often be perfectly wandering...and that's ok.

The Shiny Lights illuminate the Minneapolis music scene

If experience was gold, The Shiny Lights would be rich. One of the more promising new bands to pop out of the always crowded music scene in Minnesota – aka The Land of 10000 bands – in 2010, The Shiny Lights have about a century’s worth of collective experience behind them, something that is immediately evident when you hear the inspired pop/rock on their self-titled debut EP. Equally adept at up-tempo rockers and delicate pop craft – and most everything in
between – this is a band that clearly is serious about its business.

The Harmaleighs honestly craft poetic, passionate, and powerful songs cut from a pastiche of indie, folk, pop and Americana. In January 2015, The Harmaleighs—Haley Grant and Kaylee Jasperson —embarked on something of a modern odyssey in support of their independent full-length debut, Pretty Picture, Dirty Brush. The band-mates and partners got rid of their Nashville apartment, put everything they owned in a storage unit, bought a van, equipped it with a bed, and hit the road with their 8-month-old pug Gus sleeping on the dash for the next nine months.
