Mariah Mercedes is a pop/R&B artist from the Twin Cities delivering smooth grooves with a perpetual smirk.
Drawing on influences as vast as the Paris jazz of Django Reinhardt and vocal styles of Billy Holiday, the angst ridden grunge they grew up on, to the traditional Americana music of the Ozarks that they call home; Izabel Crane has created a style of their own style dubbed “Ozark Jazz.” The ensemble plays with a “beauty and darkness that melodically winds itself around your eardrums and sensually sways you into submission”(feedbands).
