Second Sundays with Midnight Love!

This group is just shy of being considered a Lou Donaldson cover band because of all the Burt Bacharach, Ruby & The Romantics, Roberta Flack and Crusaders covers. The line up is saxophonist Peter Vircks (Moveable Feast, Rhythmic Circus, MPLS), drummer Greg Schutte (Mickey Hart, Jello Slave, Ryan Bingham), pianist & organist Brian Ziemniak (F-Deluxe, BZ3, Yohannes Tona Band), trombonist Matt Darling (Hookers and Blow, New Standards, Honeydogs) and bassist Patrick Nelson (Root City Band, Rhythmic Circus, Eric Hutchinson, New Primitives). Midnight Love features the classic tenor sax and trombone frontline, vintage keyboard sounds and a funky rare groove setting with a romantic bent.
