The Lucky Dutch is an American roots-rock band from Illinois, formed in 2008 in Chicago by guitarist Nathan Graham and singer Claire Corriveau. They began their career performing extensively around Chicago’s bar and festival scene. In 2014, they released their first full length record, Bury the Night. In the past two years, they have toured extensively and opened for Marc Broussard, Jackson Mudd and Marc Ford of the Black Crowes. Their second record, Cadillac Coffin, was released in May 2016 and has been played on radio stations across the country.
Minneapolis band releasing their first official EP gathered from songs performed at 7th St. Entry and Amsterdam Hall. Four white twenty-some year old males: One of them is a bad person, two of them are nihilists, two of them are alcoholics and all of them make it look good.
Fans categorize the music somewhere near the Black Keys or The Cold War Kids but Nethan puts its own special sauce on the music to give it that very special taste. Since its recent inception, Nethan has made itself a presence in the twin cities music scene, creating two EPs which they will be following up with a full length album.
