Beneath a canopy of trees on the prettiest cobblestone street in Minneapolis, the Aster Cafe beckons with flickering candlelight and romantic charm. Overlooking both the Mississippi River and the Downtown Skyline, our European courtyard and bespoke dining room welcome you to savor fresh, inventive dishes (no deep fryers!) and custom cocktails, curated wines, and craft beers. It’s more than just the “best place for a date”, it’s where stories begin, or are retold–a haven for the Wanderers and Dreamers, Romantics and Rebels.
Aster Cafe takes reservations for indoor dining & live music only. Patio dining is walk-in only.

If you want a romantic wedding space with a team that will strive to make your day memorable, let’s talk! We can host your ceremony, reception, bridal dinner, champagne brunch, even your in-laws.

Ramp parking is recommended because it’s convenient & inexpensive. Enter ramp off 2nd Street SE & 2nd Avenue SE.
