Ben Glaros has been an esteemed figure on the Twin Cities music scene since the late 1980’s. In addition to contributing his formidable guitar talents to countless projects over the years he has become known as one the area’s finest singers and songwriters. The Celebrated Summerteeth EP is his first official release since 2008’s “Lovesong Roulette” and his first solo outing since resigning from his guitar post in critically acclaimed band Fathom Lane.

The three song release celebrates power pop influences such as Husker Du, Wilco and Guided By Voices and the musical and lyrical experimentation of David Bowie. This show will feature the fantastic rhythm section Ben recorded with; Paul Boblett on bass and Billy Thommes on drums.

Jeremy Ylvisaker is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, left handed middle child of a school teacher and a composer. He’s played with and/or recorded with Andrew Bird, Brother Ali, The Suburbs, Fog, Dosh, The Cloak Ox, Haley Bonar, Eyedea, and many others playing on five continents in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, The Olympia Theater in Paris, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, The Cape Town Jazz Festival, The Ed Sullivan Theater (The Late Show with David Letterman), and other television programs including the Tonight Show, Austin City Limits, and the Colbert Report.

He writes and improvises a variety of instrumental music as well as songs for a rock and roll outfit called Alpha Consumer.
