This summer Courtney Yasmineh is on a journey, rediscovering her roots in Minnesota where she fell in love with the music of Bob Dylan and began her early songwriting career as a young girl in the North Woods. She’s releasing her ninth album in September, an album of songs written by her songwriting heroes. These recordings have brought her performances close to her rustic sensibilities, her summers on Lake Vermilion, her winter on the frozen lake, alone at seventeen. The trio is Rob Genadek, studio guru, amazing vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist who has been her collaborator now for fifteen years. Jon James, on bass or lead guitar and harmonies, who has also worked with Courtney through several albums. The trio heads to Europe with the new album in late September.

Lost in the Sun is based in sunny Phoenix, Arizona and have been playing around the valley for over 10 years. The four piece blends folk/rock/indie to create a desert rock sound. The band just released their second full length album “Searching” and will be touring early this summer.
