Andrea Leonard (who performs under her project’s name Delicate Friend) is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Saint Paul. Considering her voice her “main instrument”, Andrea writes voice-led original songs that let her raw, symbolic lyrics and driving melodies lead the way. Her full band, including musicians Kourtney Ryan, Rachel Bearinger, and Dan Crist, adds a grittier complexity to her original songs. Equally inspired by folk heroes like Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake and 90s/2000s staples like Alanis Morisette, Deftones and Massive Attack, her songs relish in storytelling while sometimes taking a deeper, darker turn. When not performing, Andrea teaches singing, violin, songwriting, and guitar around the twin cities at places like Music Lab, Twin Town Guitars, and She Rock She Rock.

Cassandra Johnson is a singer/songwriter and self taught guitarist based in Saint Paul. She has blended her influences of indie, jazz, and soul into a cohesive sound all her own. She elevates her moving melodies and autobiographical lyrics with rich guitar arrangements so that every song feels like a little world unto itself. Cassandra also plays lead guitar in local band Real Late Nites. Cassandra is the founder of Friday Riffday, a project that started as a joyful and lighthearted way for her to track her progress while learning guitar. It has grown into a successful online community, reaching individuals from around the globe and inspiring authenticity in music representation on social media. Over 1000 posts have been shared to #fridayriffday.
