Emily Haavik is a singer-songwriter from the shores of Lake Superior, now based in the Twin Cities. “There’s soul in Haavik’s voice” (Duluth News Tribune) and she writes “terrific songs with honest lyrics and infectious hooks” (The Bluegrass Situation). Haavik plays a blend of Americana, folk and glitzy-glam country. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband Phil and her son Robert. In her spare time she is a journalist and audio producer.
