Singer/songwriter Anna Schulze writes rock-infused folk-pop songs with emotional rawness and conversational lyrics that invoke shades of early Liz Phair and Sheryl Crow. A Minnesota native, Schulze began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 9. She moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to study music at the University of Southern California where she worked with mentor and Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter, Glen Ballard.

Her latest release Pickford Market oscillates between mellow stripped down interludes (“Don’t You Fade Away” and “Out Here”) and full-fledged alt pop-rock tracks, coined by No Depression Journal as, “genuine, dynamic, and insightful.”

Schulze currently lives in Silver Lake, CA where she is self-producing her upcoming project.
