Joga Bola explores the soulful, groovy landscape of Brazilian music from it’s “golden age” in the 1960’s and 1970’s–samba, funk, psychedelia, & pop. The group has brought together a diverse, rotating crew of the best South and North American players in the Twin Cities: Karen Quiroz, Adam Levy, John Munson, Tim O’Keefe, Andrew Gillespie, Charlie Peterson, Lucia Sarmiento, Vie Boheme, and Jeff Bailey.
