John Forrest and The Model Citizens is an alternative band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With an upbeat danceable sound, the music tries to capture the changing dynamics of love, self-destruction, loneliness, and isolation in the digital age. In 2019 John Forrest released his first album, Futile American Love. Following the release, John Forrest and The Model Citizens was formed and have since released two EPs while staying busy writing new music and playing shows around the Midwest.

Formed in 2022 by singer Antonio Juarez and guitarist Spencer Runde, Labrador Wild soon evolved into a five piece after the inclusion of Danish Mahmood (Posheeda Noor), Joey Roehlen and Andy Schmitz (of Untied Shoes).

With a creative focus on cohesive and dramatic compositions, the group’s sound is characterized by hypnotic instrumentals, high-energy choruses, and powerful vocals. Influenced by a wide variety of rock artists from the 60s to the present day, Labrador Wild aims to replicate nothing, but welcomes all influence.

Currently gigging within and around Minneapolis, Minnesota, Labrador Wild released their debut single “Same Direction” in May of 2023.
