Kelly Blau is an up and coming jazz guitarist from the Twin Cities. Influenced by jazz guitar greats John Scofield and Julian Lage. Blau began playing blues and jazz at a very young age, performing in college jazz ensembles and Indie bands in southern Minnesota for the past five years. His style blends elements of jazz, blues and bluegrass. He got his start with the Americana group Jaybone Bell and Restless Light and is now adding his unique style to many of the beloved jazz standards. Blau is a new generation of artists bringing refreshing new talent to the genre.
