Kismet Rendezvous is the recent coming together of Lonesome Dan Kase and Dawn Tanner. Bringing a rich and deep background steeped in country blues, folk, ragtime and Americana, their music and original songs reflect those many influences, while carving out their own unique path.

With many years of professional performance between them in a variety of venues including festivals, cafes, breweries and house concerts, their live show is polished as well as fun and spontaneous. Telling a story and/or giving a background on the songs before performing them engages the audience and lets them feel very much a part of the show and deepens the experience.

Featuring several different instrument combinations including guitar, banjo, ukulele, resonator guitar and harmony vocals, their sound pallate is broad.

Dawn has released 3 CDs since 2016 with a variety of excellent side musicians.
Lonesome Dan has released 5 solo CDs and 3 CDs with two different bands he has led or co-led.

Emmy Woods was born and raised in rural North Dakota and currently resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota. With hints of country, folk, and blues, Emmy’s songs showcase both her knack for storytelling, her strengths in musical artistry, and an impressive vocal range and ability cultivated by years of practice. While Emmy has been writing songs for over 20 years, her first collection of songs, tristia bella, as well as her albums The Manifold and Delirium were not released until 2020. All three collections of songs are available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms. She will be accompanied by Jake Johnson on violin.
