Hey Aster Fans,

I’ve had the privilege of playing my sacred, folk-rock originals for nearly 4 decades in and around the Twin Cities – from intimate clubs to national radio broadcasts – and I’m grateful for every opportunity to share this music with others.

The Aspen Times once said, “In his songs about connection, freedom, inspiration and identity, Paul’s voice takes on an urgency; the singer he most closely resembles is Elvis Costello, and you can’t get much more urgent than that.” – I liked reading that.

I’m looking forward to July 1 because music is a living thing that dwells in the space between the artist and the audience, where true honesty, love, passion, vulnerability, and trust can be discovered…on a good night.

And, “good nights” are often found at the Aster.

I am also the founder of a nonprofit organization, Feed Them With Music. Through it, we make a difference in the world by supporting school lunch programs in developing nations, primarily Haiti.

Looking forward to singing in that lovely room at the Aster Cafe!
