Punt on Third is a local trio that plays bluegrass classics, soulful originals, and a handful of 90s covers with an old-timey twist. Although we’ve been friends for a long time, our shared affinity for three part harmony, melancholic songwriting, and unconventional arrangements is what makes us click as musicians. We’re not sure exactly where we fit in the musical landscape, but we think we do a pretty good job of being distinctly Minnesotan, for better or for worse.
