Rooted in country, rock and the blues, Minneapolis singer-songwriter Sarah Streitz brings an authentic attitude to her music. A former teacher and an artist, Sarah took up the guitar in 2012, started writing songs shortly thereafter and released her first record in 2015. Sarah has performed throughout the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota and Wisconsin. Her backing band includes some of Minnesota’s finest sidemen. A follow up recording project is currently underway and due out in 2017.

J. Briozo is a new band formed by members of the Minneapolis Americana/roots band Swallows. The band evolved around a set of psych-folk, chamber-pop and jazz-influenced rock songs that Swallows’ lead singer Jeff Crandall began recording as a solo project. While tracking the new project, Jeff invited all of the Swallows to contribute parts independently of one another and by the time tracking was completed, everyone heard each other’s work and realized that a compelling new sound had developed during the recording process. Songs from J. Briozo’s upcoming debut album have been compared to Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Wilco and The Beatles. The band’s line-up features Jeff Crandall (guitar, vocals), Aaron Kerr (cello, bass), Justin DeLeon (drums), Brett Hansen (guitar, vocals) and Tyson Allison (percussion, vocals).
