Apocalypse Girlfriend (FKA Anima) formed out of a lifelong friendship between band members Raina Gravatt and Jaia Wilbour. Taking inspiration from the folk-roots of their Midwestern home, the two began writing songs and performing together as teenagers. Now with a full band, Apocalypse Girlfriend has blended their sound into a modern fusion of Americana, pop, and psychedelic rock highlighted by delicate harmonies, contemplative songwriting, and expansive soundscapes.
