Fronted by a brother-sister duo, The Be Stills draw on a Midwestern songwriting tradition of concrete storytelling and magical realism. Electronic-inspired percussion is fused with classical fiddle and atmospheric guitar effects. The Be Stills draw on primarily local, Minnesotan influences from Bob Dylan to Bon Iver. To The Tide House is their first release.

Mark Croft is an award-winning singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist who has always been unafraid to break the genre barriers.
