West Nevada is the brainchild of Ellis Cleve and John Cleve Richardson. The twin cities songwriting duo combines singer/songwriter qualities with R&B feels. Henry James Patterson fits in nicely playing hooks with stylish proficiency. The songwriting collaboration is displayed on their raw yet intimate demo entitled “The West Nevada Demo”.

Mariah Mercedes is a Pop/R&B singer and songwriter from the Twin Cities. Her vocal croons are comparable to the likes of Norah Jones, Feist, and Emily King. Mercedes’ tunes explore coming of age themes delivered with smooth grooves and a perpetual smirk. At 21, she is beginning to find her sound by combining traces of R&B and neo-soul with her singer-songwriter roots. A Berklee College of Music dropout, Mariah has high hopes in returning to MN to start her solo career with her summer release, “Following a Tangled Thread” EP.
